I have probably been asked what I did for Spring Break about 10 different times in the last 2 days. Short Answer: I made a quilt! And it was wonderful.
Mom cut
I pressed
Mom sewed
And we did it. Chi Omega t-shirt quilt. It was such a fun project
and I couldn't have done it without mom's help.
Can't wait to get it back from the quilter!
I hope you don't mind that I found your new blog through Cami's. I love this quilt, I had saved my Chi-o shirts to do this same thing, but then I gave up hope of ever really doing it, and gave away all my shirts. I think yours turned out ever so cute! Way to go!

It is really so cute. I still can't believe the owl fabric on the border. Your T-shirts are all so cute. I'm not sure that mine are nearly as cute. We'll see...
ReplyDeleteGood spring break!!! :)
GRIZZLE! I have to tell you I am LOVING the quilt idea... all those Chi Omega shirts and no place to wear them. Tell Mrs. Warner I am coming over!
ReplyDeleteI am SO excited for our GIRLS TRIP, wish it was tomorrow. Tina and Griz'natch on the town - CAN'T WAIT! Hope to see you soon!
P.S. Chi Omega YOURS FORVER!
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the skull and crossbones? That's kind of creepy...
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't we at least put on a little make-up before we took the picture? Oh, I remember--we went right out for a hike up Snow Canyon. Quilt looks much better than the people. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteProbably the coolest quilt I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteGrace! So, I stumbled across your blog, hope thats okay :)
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is amazing! I admire anyone that quilts because quite frankly, I was one and done in that department.
Hope all is well, we should get together!
